I did 5 loops around Spring Trails. The first 4 I did at an average of 8:10 per mile. The last loop I did at a 6:55 pace. Once again it was warm and humid this morning but not too bad. I saw 5 deer and 3 pigs.

This morning I ran from Spring Trails and did the big loop around all the subdivisions in the area. It was warm and humid but there was a drinking fountain at a park along the way. The last 3 miles I averaged 7:45. Otherwise I ran at a 8:20 pace. I plan on hiding some drinks this evening along the planned route for my long run tomorrow morning.

I did a long run this morning. I ran from Spring Trails on Rilley Fuzzel and then took a left on Aldine Westfield. I then entered into Lexington Woods and did a bill loop coming out near Cypresswood. I then ran back to Spring Trails and did 2 loops around the subdivision before returning home.

I ran all around Spring Trails this morning. I was raining moderatly to hard the whole time but it felt good. I did 3 800m surges in the middle of the run at 6:50 pace. Otherwise I ran at an 8:10 pace.

This morning I ran out of Spring Trails and then took a right on Rilley Fuzzel and then entered Benders Landing. I then did 3 loops around the lake and then went back home. I ran at a 8:10 pace the first 8.5 miles and then went 7:45 the last 2 miles.

I ran all around Spring Trails this morning. I did two .5 mile surges in the middle of the run at a 6:47 pace and did the last mile in 7:51. Otherwise I ran at a 8:15 pace. It was warm and humid this morning but there was a breeze. Tomorrow morning I plan on doing a speed workout at the track.

This morning I ran over to Benders Landing via the back way and did 5 loops around the lake and then ran back home the way I came. I did 4 800m surges in the middle of the run at an average of a 6:45 pace. I ran the last mile in 7:49, otherwise I ran at a 8:20 pace. Tomorrow I plan on either doing a 5k race or a long run. I have not decided yet.

I did a long run this morning doing the big loop around all the subdivisions near where I live. I ran at a 8:22 pace for the first 19 miles and then did the last 2 in 7:54 and 7:49. It was warm and humid but I had set out gatorades the night before.

I ran along the new roads that they are building in my subdivsion and then went over to Benders Landing and did 2 loops around the lake. Then I went back home going by the new junior high. I did 4 800m surges during the run at an average of 6:46 pace. Otherwise I ran at a 8:15 pace. A cold front went through on Sunday so it was cool and dry this morning. Perfect weather for running. This could be our last cold front for a long time however.

I ran this morning around Spring Trails 5 times. The last mile I did in 6:48. Otherwise I ran at a 8:12 pace. It was warm and humid this morning with no wind to speak of. This will be the norm all the way until October or November around here. I had to start running at 4:00 AM because I had to get to work 1 hour early today. My energy seemed low because of this. I should of went to bed earlier last night instead of 10:00 PM.

I ran really early this morning starting at 4:00. I ran over to Benders Landing via the back way and did 5 loops around the lake. The first 6.25 miles I averaged 8:18 and the last 4 miles I averaged 7:50. I decided to put off the speed workout until tomorrow morning because I am planning to sleep more tonight.

I did the big loop around Benders Landing this morning. A cold front came through last night so it was relatively cool with drier air. I saw 10 deer and 1 armadillo. During the run I did 5 800m surges at 5K pace. The rest of the run I averaged 8:20 per mile. Tomorrow I plan on doing a long run. Today I will think about the route I want to do and will hide drinks tonight.

I ran this morning around all the subdivisions in my area. It was warm and humid but I had drinks set out from the night before. The last 2 miles I picked it up to a 7:51 pace. The rest of the day I feld sort of weak. It was probably because of the heat during my run. I am entering these reports in late because I have been out of town for 4 days.

I ran this morning over to Benders Landing via the back way and ran 5 loops around the lake. I then ran back home on Rilley Fuzzel and then Spring Trails Bend. I did three 800m surges during my loops around the lake at an average of a 6:43 pace. It seems like every morning is warm and humid now but I am sure I will bet used to it.

I ran from my home 2.5 miles to the track and did five 800m repeats with 400m recoveries in 2:30. My goal was to average 3:15 per interval.

1- 3:21  a little slow but getting warmed up

2- 3:17 still a little stiff

3- 3:13

4- 3:14

5- 3:08 really sprinted the last lap

I then ran back home the way I came. I could ring about a gallon of water out of my micro-fiber shirt.

I ran over to Benders Landing and did 6 laps around the lake and then came back home a different way. It was probably 80 degrees even at 5:00 AM. There was a group running around the lake but I believe they are mainly an aerobic group that rarely runs.

I left my home in Spring Trails this morning and ran over to Imperial Oaks via Aldine Westfield Rd. I then came back out of Imperial Oaks via Imperial Oaks Blvd. and ran through Fox Run back to Spring Trails and home. I did 4 800m surges at an average of 6:47 during the run. Otherwise I ran at an 8:12 pace.

After setting our drinks the night before I got up really early at 5:00 AM and ran out of Spring Trails onto Rilley Fuzzel. I then ran all the way to the end of Rilley Fuzzel. I then ran around the subdivision of Creekside Canyon. I then went onto Birnam Woods Dr. and ran over to Imperial Oaks. I did a loop around the new parts of Imperial Oaks. I then ran our of Imperial Oaks onto Rayford Rd. I then went back to Spring Trails and did two loops around and returned home. I did 2 miles in the middle at marathon pace (7:53). Otherwise I ran at a 8:20 pace. I lost alot of water through swetting but I had the drinks I had set out and I went by 2 drinking fountains at  parks.

For my speed workout this morning around the track I decided to do 4 miles with 400m recoveries in 2:30 in between. I ran 2 miles from my home to the track and did one lap before strating my intervals.

1-  7:04

2-  6:58

3-  6:57

4-  6:49  I really pushed it the last lap of this one since it was my last

I then ran back home 2 miles and crawled into the shower making sure not to wake up the wife and kids with dripping sweat.

I meant to do 22 miles this morning but a combination of the heat and humidity and not getting enough sleep the night before did me in. After 18 miles I was dead so I slowed to a walk and took a shortcut home. I did the first 15 miles at a 8:16 pace and the last 3 miles averaged about 9:12. I need to make sure I get more sleep before the long run and that I take in some calories about 3 hours before I start the run. It was hard because my 3 year old son kept on waking up with what we think were nightmares last night.
